BotCon 2007 Contest Guidelines!

Dear BotCon Contest Entrant:

Each contest is limited to two entries per person and you must be present to enter.

Restrictions:

You must be an registered guest at BotCon in order to enter a contest.
You will need to submit a completed Entry Questionnaire with each entry at BotCon. There are five different Contests:

3-D Custom Figure
3-D Diorama
2-D Art Computer Generated
2-D Art Hand Drawn Color
2-D Art Hand Drawn Black/White

Winners will be awarded show dollars that you can spend with any dealer at the show. All contests will be judged by a jury. Please do not bring any entries that have won in past convention contests. (Promoter reserves the right to remove any displays deemed unsuitable for an audience or has been entered in past contests.) Set up time for all contests are 1:30 – 5pm, Friday, June 29th. Judging starts promptly at 6 pm. Winners will be announced on Saturday night at the Awards Party. ALL ENTRIES ARE TO REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL 1:00 PM on Sunday.

3-D Custom Figure Contest restrictions: Each entrant has a limited space up to 24” x 24”. Please use Hasbro product whenever possible. If the product is not made by Hasbro, you may use another vendor's product or create your own. Contest is limited to two entries per person. Only one of your entries can win per category. Prizes: 1st Place: $125*, 2nd Place $65*, 3rd Place $35*.

3-D Diorama restrictions: Each entrant has a limited space up to 48” x 30”. Please use Hasbro product whenever possible. If the product is not made by Hasbro, you may use another vendor's product or create your own. Contest is limited to two entries per person. Only one of your entries can win per category. Prizes: 1st Place: $150*, 2nd Place $75*, 3rd Place $40*.

2-D Art Computer Generated Contest restrictions: Computer Generated Art, Hand Drawn Art Color and Hand Drawn Black & White. Each entrant has a limited space up 20” x 24” but not smaller then 8” x 10” and must be mounted (this can be on foam board or cardboard so that we can hand the art on the wall). Contest is limited to two entries per person. Only one of your entries can win per category. Prizes: 1st Place: $100*, 2nd Place $50*, 3rd Place $25*.

2-D Art Hand Drawn Color Contest restrictions: Computer Generated Art, Hand Drawn Art Color and Hand Drawn Black & White. Each entrant has a limited space up 20” x 24” but not smaller then 8” x 10” and must be mounted (this can be on foam board or cardboard so that we can hand the art on the wall). Contest is limited to two entries per person. Only one of your entries can win per category. Prizes: 1st Place: $100*, 2nd Place $50*, 3rd Place $25*.

Kids Display restrictions: Each child is limited to one display that will fit inside a 24” x 24” space.
